News: PIKT data gathering draws to a close

Researchers from National College of Ireland and SeeBeyondBorders came together online this Tuesday to officially mark the end of data gathering within Data Round 2 of the PIKT research project. Data round 2 comprised of a classroom observation and a semi-structured interview with the 25 teachers who participated in the first round of data gathering in 2023.

As Data Round 2 analysis begins, we expect to gain a better understanding of what is happening in practice and whether there have been any changes due to teacher agency, and if not, what prevented it from happening. Based by the initial analysis of the field data, the team will design a second teacher professional development workshop.
